As a young family of three, William, Sally and their 18-month-old daughter Florence were looking to find a forever home that ticked all of their boxes.
Having previously lived further north in Matakana, the Hunt family were searching for a home that best suited them and their needs – close enough to family in Auckland central city but also an area that was an easy commute to their North Shore workplaces, a safe family neighbourhood and an area that had a welcoming sense of community.
Chris Twiss is no stranger to the North Shore. Having lived on the Devonport peninsula for over 20 years he wanted a low maintenance home in the same great location he had come to know and love.
When Chris found Oneoneroa, it ticked all of his boxes and he purchased his three-bedroom family home for himself and teenage daughter, Ella, who attends nearby Takapuna Grammar. The third room is for his son, who will return for home visits from university.
When now engaged couple Corinne and Robin set out on their house hunt they left no stone unturned, exploring terraced housing, standalone homes and homes that needed TLC.
With a background in architecture and digital civil engineering, the couple knew what they wanted from their first home and sought the location that would offer all the amenities they were after while providing enough space for the two of them and South African Staffy, Ziggy.
